ਸ਼੍ਰੇਯੋ ਭੋਕ੍ਤੁਂ ਭੈਕ੍ਸ਼੍ਯਮਪੀਹ ਲੋਕੇ |
ਹਤ੍ਵਾਰ੍ਥਕਾਮਾਂਸ੍ਤੁ ਗੁਰੂਨਿਹੈਵ
ਭੁਞ੍ਜੀਯ ਭੋਗਾਨ੍ ਰੁਧਿਰਪ੍ਰਦਿਗ੍ਧਾਨ੍ ||੨-੫||
Translation
ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਮਹਾਨ ਗੁਰੂਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਰਨ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਇਸ ਸੰਸਾਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਦਾਨ ਕਬੂਲ ਕਰਨਾ ਵਧੇਰੇ ਲਾਭਦਾਇਕ ਹੈ ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਗੁਰੂਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਰ ਕੇ ਮੈਂ ਇਸ ਸੰਸਾਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਧਨ-ਦੌਲਤ ਅਤੇ ਕਾਮ-ਵਾਸਨਾ ਦੇ ਲਹੂ-ਲੁਹਾਨ ਆਨੰਦ ਹੀ ਭੋਗਾਂਗਾ
