pārthayā pratibodhitaṃ bhagavat nārāyaṇa svayaṃ
vyāseṇa grahītama purāṇa muninā madhya mahābhārata
advaitamṛtavarṣiṇīm bhagavatīmaṣṭadasādhyānīm
ambā tvāmanusandadhāmi bhagavadgītā bhavedveśinim
Translation
Shrimad Bhagavad Gita, which Bhagavan Narayana Himself spoke to Arjuna, and which the ancient sage Vedavyasa wrote in the midst of the Mahabharata, and which flows with that nectar that becomes Advaita—O Goddess of eighteen chapters, O Mother, I remember you who destroy the obstacles of speech.
