yajñārthātkarmaṇo'nyatra loko'yaṃ karmabandhanaḥ |
tadarthaṃ karma kaunteya muktasaṅgaḥ samācara ||3-9||
This man who is engaged in action other than that done for the sake of yajna is bound by actions; therefore, O Kaunteya! Abandoning attachment, perform action properly only for the sake of yajna.
